The piano black finish of Sony STR-DN1000 looks great. It is going great with the Harmon Kardon Speakers ( HKTS eighteen ) which also have a piano black finish to them. In addition, the entire system looks fantastic…and sounds just as good. sound is extraordinarily crisp. Dolby HD and DTS HD sound superb!
Not only will the reciever put out superb audio ( 110 watts per channel ) …but another selling point for me was the GUI. It gives me the option of cycling through menus and setting on the television, which is nice because I haven’t got to get my glasses to change radio stations or change outputs.
This Sony STR-DN1000 receiver looks peculiar. It sounds super.
